My two boys (8 and 10) and I really enjoyed it here. We stayed in the dormitory area which wasn't the best accommodations but the hot spring pools were very relaxing and so much fun. They played a lot in one of the cooler pools then would run and try out the hotter ones. Was a much needed break on the way from Nebraska to the Grand Canyon. The complimentary breakfast was good but not great. Was overall a neat experience I would definitely do again.
We feel so much more relaxed after having soaked through dusk in the warmth of the naturally fed pools. Once the sun sets, the stars add to the dimly lit ambience of this wonderful oasis. If only the men's restroom was housed inside something other than a portable green stinkbox, the experience would have been perfect.
Super nice place. Kind people. Hot water pools are warm and comfortable. The massage was great. When you are done with the massage and it seems like it just started, Then you know it was great. i will return again
The hot springs here are very nice and peaceful. The rooms and grounds were a bit shabby for the cost associated with an overnight room. We also had to pay to soak after 1p the day we checked out after paying $150 for a room. That felt like they were being a bit cheap with us. I enjoyed my stay here but next time will only pay for a day pass and not overnight.
I was nervous to be disconnected from TV & wifi, but we kept so busy during the day with local trails and hikes that I really didn't notice, and a pleasant surprise. The hot spring pools are amazing! Very relaxing especially after a long active day. There are five pools at varying temperatures. A few nights there were quite a few people, but if you move around to the other pools it's not a big deal. One suggestion would be a couple more lights on the path to see your way between the pools, but all in all a great experience! The lodge had very comfortable beds, and the staff are so kind and friendly.
